The Kitchen Table Collective

The Kitchen Table Collective began informally as a group of friends meeting to discuss our artistic projects and practice, around founding member Alexia’s kitchen table. After several meetings and countless cups of coffee we decided to form the collective officially, started our first project together, and grew the collective as we collaborated with creatives and initiated new projects. The ethos of the collective considers the kitchen table as a gathering site, which encourages the exchange of ideas and spirit of community; An informal forum for discussion, a site for making, collaborating, and conversation. We currently have 3 core members based between London, Paris and New Zealand, and have recently completed the second edition of our yearly independent and bilingual (French/English) publication Pain Perdu / French Toast.
